Membership Information

Membership Options:

4-H Members: Regular 4-H membership is open to all youth ages 7-18 (4-H membership age is calculated as of age before Jan. 1 of the current year).

Cloverbuds: Cloverbuds are open to youth who are 5 or 6 years of age (before Jan. 1 of the current year). Cloverbuds serve as an introduction to 4-H and can participate in a majority of 4-H events!

Have questions regarding what your child’s 4-H age is? Here is an example: If your child’s birthday is on December 31st and they turn 9, they are 9 in 4-H Age. However, if their 9th birthday is on January 1st or after, they would be 8 in 4-H age.

Enrolling in 4-H:

1. Create a 4-H Online Account: 4H Online

Here, you will enroll each of your children in McPherson County 4-H, where you will select a club and project areas for each child. Enroll in any project area that your child is interested in! This is not an official commitment but a statement of interest in that project!

2. Select a Club: 4H Clubs List
